Description

This is an early Brush Pottery "Green Onyx" vase. Made the old way with a lead and tin glaze that overflowed the base and had to be sanded, it likely dates to the 1920's. It is marked with the mold number "062" but it is obscured by the glaze. Fine crazing has developed but it is visible only under intense light at close range. Measuring 10.5" tall and 5.75" wide, this vase remains free of chips, cracks, or repair. There are a couple of small silver scuffs to the gloss glaze and tiny glaze pops here and there.
